World's Biggest Grizzly Bear
Nov 21, 2006:  This bear, shot by an employee working for the US Forest Service in Alaska, was just over 1600 pounds.  It stood 12′ 6″ high at the shoulder and 14′ to the top of his head.  It had eaten 2 people within the last 72 hours before it was shot.
